Outreach programmes for the specific target groups like the inmates of Correctional Home, Commercial Sex workers and HIV positive groups etc. are also organized in collaboration with Renowned Government and Non Government Organizations of National and State level repute.

Recently one such skill development training programme on Offset & Screen printing and Desktop Publishing has been started with the support of NABARD Eastern Region for the rehabilitation of around 60 jail inmates at Alipore Correctional Home, so that they could be back to the mainstream after they are released.

During the training appropriate handholding support is provided to the trainees according to their need, which is the key concern of SEOMP’s Skill Development Programme.

In order to motivate the trainees for different career options, interface with the representatives of reputed industries, institutions, successful entrepreneurs is organized periodically. After successful completion of the course placement assistance is provided to the trainees for which campus interviews are conducts by the renowned companies on a regular basis.

Considering the growing market demand and also according to diversifying market needs, skill development training and livelihood support programmes are revised & upgraded periodically in consultation with related technical experts and external agencies.
